THE SYSTEM

One of your servers crashed and can’t be accessed remotely via software (e.g.: Telnet, Remote Desktop). The new TeleJet Web Resetter can help you. The Web Resetter will allow you to re-boot a crashed server-PC with either a keyboard sequence via internet from anywhere in the world.

All you need is the small and inexpensive TeleJet Keyboard Simulator (TKS), which is connected through a TKS hub to a designated server-PC.

If you don’t have success with these options, you can also activate the reset switch of your PC (the TKS has a connector which can be wired directly to the reset connection on the motherboard) through the Web Resetter to reboot a totally crashed system via hardware reset independent of the current state of the system.

The TeleJet Web Resetter system offers many advantages including:

  • Saves travelling costs as connection is made remotely over the internet.
  • Saves time by allowing system administrators to take effective action immediately.
  • Multiple reset methods are possible without the machine having to be switched off and then on:
    • Predetermined key strokes.
    • Free keyboard input.
    • Direct reset.
  • No compatibility problems occur, because it is a hardware driven solution. The servers only need a PS/2-interface and (optional) access to the reset-connector on the motherboard.
  • Straight and simple wire connection.
